fyi: Mutations may (eventually) result in new species or (more usually)death of the mutant. Sports often exhibit (ab)normal variation from the parents which does not necessarily lead to new species. I guess as we are all going to die, we could all be considered mutants and, as we all hope we are (ab)normally variant from our parents, we are all sports too!!!
